Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

I'm reconsidering my position

I was among those of us who were grateful to still have a job, considering how hard it will be to get one once all of this is over, but I'm not so sure anymore. A job is useless if I'm not alive, and the way things have been going, I've genuinely started worrying about making it through all of this. I'm 55, so I might not be in the high-risk group, but I've been following the news. I'm not safe from complications either.

I wish I had the option to just not show up...

If you were short of money to sustain your family it would be a different story. Let us all mind our own bees wax. It's better to have and not need than to NEED AND NOT HAVE. Think about.

You have A Option. Stay home if you’re not comfortable going to work.

I took a two week leave and then decided to quit on my own terms.
