Had two people bring up that they heard, but refused to say from where, that agency personnel were going to be cut. PS however, would retain their positions because of some sort of legalities involved? Anyone hear this?

Layoff news is correct. They are doing it in phased manner to avoid media attention. It will continue for couple of months.
2 Aerotek people from my team were let go 2 weeks ago. They are trying to do it in a way to avoid media coverage. Having stock drop even more could be deadly for Ford.

Most peculiar our IT department is over staffed but 60 new blue badges showed up in that IT department. All new hires. All Indian names. I performed some cdsid lookups to see how many PD were released and expanded lookups to our IT department. Such waste and mismanagement!
In the past they have brought on new hires just before releasing the grey haired crowd. That is the only quasi logic I can make of it but they could just release 30% of this IT department instead of adding more blue badges. This department is not essential-workers. Hackett himself said we would only be hiring essential workers and here we are plus 60 blue badges in one department. What’s up with that?
All the directors and managers continue protecting and growing their little fiefdoms instead of behaving in a One Ford manner. We need a true leader who will straighten this mess out.
