Honest answers, please. Does anybody - outside of people who are working from home - feel safe and adequately protected from the coronavirus?

I took the leave. Center where I work there was absolutely no safety measures contractors and vendors still coming in and we sit on top of each other .... sorry just going to chill till they come up with a solution
Truthfully, I feel most threatened by my co-workers who can't seem to grasp the concept of social distancing. WTF is so hard about staying 6ft from someone? It would be nice if there was testing, but that seems to be hard to come by for everyone.
Waste of money and resources to buy equipment, ingredients etc. to make hand sanitizer, when it can be bought in bulk much cheaper.
This decision is about 4+ weeks too late, when hand sanitizer was being much hoarded and in much short supply.
So what exactly have they done, besides having people work from home, which is what every company in the world is having their employees do?
They are consolidating their supplies of N95 masks in a central location to deploy to essential workers and have also bought the manufacturing equipment to make their own hand sanitizer.

What are the specifics of the great job they are doing?
Yep, have done a great job and look around plenty of companies are doing nothing.
They are doing a great job in the DC area where I work.
I think they are doing a very good job in my area.
I agree, quit whinning, s— it up and protect yourself, wer a mask, hand sanitizer, gloves, etc
They should be providing testing, masks and hand sanitizer , same as any worker who is deemed essential.

Seriously, what do you expect them to do? Give you a HAZMAT suit?
Police and fire are out in the field and all they have are gloves and masks and they have to put their hands on the most disgusting people on earth.

The virus is not that bad and just a ploy to take away rights and much,much more . If you don't think Verizon is protecting you enough take the 8 week leave .
