Theres been a death due to the corona virus in the sams club in elmsford NY and they still continue to run this club like nothing happened. Most of the managers went on LOA after they heard the news. And only 2 team leads remain in the building. The truth is that the company is not doing enough to ensure the safety of the associates. They are not even announcing the departments of the associates getting infected/positive testers and not taking drastic measures when it comes to cleaning/disinfecting the departments thats these associates worked in. We need to all be vocal and continue to push our club managers to speak up on our behalf. We need to be pushy even if that means annoying the sh** out of them because we need to get our point across. OUR SAFETY IS A PRIORITY!!

It’s hilarious how someone asks what the home office should do to help make the clubs safer and that person gets attacked. I wonder if the person who asked that was trying to have a legitimate conversation about and they just got attacked.

Yeah our club cleaned and sanitized for like a week and quit. Luckily we dont have any cases in our club but I'm sure we will at one point.
I literally had a manager say to me, "o, well" when I pointed out having runners with cashiers was unsafe, because they couldn't keep social distant. North Carolina here, by the way.
Don’t you all get it by now , home office only cares about the money they are making ! They don’t care about us ! Heard there are several cases here in Michigan ... yet we stay open. They don’t want us to know about any of it cause they know we won’t show up . My club has so many people on LOA, and they keep pushing us to work work work like everything is ok !

(To the comment below this one) What do you mean what we expect corporate to do? We expect corporate to do more. I dont see any of those highers up down here in the trenches dealing with members everyday and putting their lives at risk like we are. And the truth is most associates would love to stay home but at the same time they need money. Bills dont pay themselves. You sound like someone who loves to get on your knees and do everything your told. OUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT!!
