So we arent deemed as frontline workers which I think is total bs to begin with. I mean we did get the 300 bucks payout which is okay. However other retailers are paying their employees more per hour until this sh– is all over with. We are out there daily putting our lives and families lives on the line for these members who arent following basic city ordinances (social distancing, one cart one shopper, etc). Where is our hazard pay?? Why arent coaches holding members accountable to the ordinances?? All they are doing is potentially coming and spreading this sh– to all of us. Coaches dont care plain and simple. You have one who cant show up on time if his life depended on it. You have one who is glued to his phone playing pokemon. You have the fresh coaches...let's not even go there. You have the gm who sits in the ptc office selling her bling jewelry. You have one good manager who somehow isnt like the others. Man screw this noise. This place is corrupt AF.

We should start rumors that hazard pay will double your current wage and see if it catches like the stupid first responder day.
The $300 was not hazard pay. It was a bonus for all the money we made selling truckloads of toilet paper in such a short time.

BJ's is paying an additional $2/hour for at least the next couple weeks. Early May. They are going to reevaluate at that time and possibly extend it.
I’ll repeat again!! It’s a propaganda. We are disposable cheap labor workers. They don’t care because the moment you quit, there’s a line of people who they can get and pay them minimum to make them their millions. It’s a cycle that will always continue.
