we've always been expendable. i chuckle every time we get a new hire and they pair them with someone whos been there forever and told to train them , only for them to later find out they been training their replacement unknowingly. obviously they get a full shift from the experienced associate as they fire them as their on their way out.
We are nothing but a spec of dust to them. They will continue to give us these sht bonus because they know we jump on it like flies on sht. I guarantee you if they could give us nothing they would. They just have to give us something so it doesn’t make them look bad. We are all c—roaches to them.
Your rump is always replaceable, but until Sam's/Walmart decides to run a complete vending machine operation, Us store employees are completely essential. Don't kid yourself. You aren't getting food and needed items without a staff to create a path of ownership of those things.
essential? i say sacrificial
