Fort Worth getting the axe treatment today who’s next on the covid19 excuse layoff? Did Fort Worth buy into the undertime list? If they did it looks like undertime isn’t saving $hit, and people need to wake up and stop taking it.

NLR lost 68 machinists, 97 electricians, 26 msos, 53 boilermakers, 25 pipe fitters, and 14 carmen for a total of 283 people leaving 80 machinists, 57 electricians, 46 msos, 2 boilermakers , 2 pipe fitters, 1 carman for a total of 188 people. 15 of those people remained at jenks for those who actually want the real numbers.
NLR alone should show that undertime is a scam. Over 109 or more electricians, 80 or more Machinists were furloughed at NLR on May 5, 2020 and they are still asking people to take undertime. So if you are taking undertime to spend time with family or just doing you, do it. If you are taking undertime to save your shop, it probably won't. They didn't even try it long enough at NLR to get the numbers before they furloughed workers.

Yeah, lots of people here took it... hook, line & sinker. All that did was help pay the poor shareholders while U.P. collected the numbers ... of how many people they could do without.

I don’t think anyone is taking undertime to save jobs. They are taking it as an excuse free lay off day. A day to get away from that sh*t show.
It's not about affording it or having friends, its principal, they said do the undertime so we won't have to furlough, and look at what happened. They're going to do what they want regardless. And the undertime system is flawed anyway, why should I have to jump through the same hoops for an unpaid day off as a vacation day. Should just sc-ap the entire absentism policy.
