I was laid off today and then 2 hrs later received voicemails and emails from my manager begging me to reapply. Meanwhile, I had already mailed my computer and phone 😂

I wouldn't go back. For those left behind, the workload is about to go nuclear. If Honeywell RIF'ed you once, they will definitely do it again.
The above comment is terrible advice. Just because you are offered a job now doesn't mean you'll be offered one later.
Additionally, this is a request to reapply for a position. This is typical if they layed someone off and want to keep them. Its not a guarantee of a position, as if they find someone better than they'll take them. I'd suggest you reapply (you are still eligible for unemployment) and if you get the position, take it.
@gbp They are not offering him a position, the manager is asking him to reapply. He would have to go through the whole interview process and be offered a position and THEN for him to refuse for it to count against unemployment. Currently AZ, possibly other states, are not requiring reporting of job hunt so he needn't do even that to receive unemployment.

If Honeywell officially offers you your job back and notifies the state of the offer it may nullify your unemployment request. It may also affect your severance so carefully read your severance contract. You might consider accepting the offer. The current economic situation makes it very difficult to find a new job for the immediate future.
As someone who was laid off (different company), i would take that offer to go back to work at the place i was just let go from. File for unemployment but take the job unless you have savings and severance to sustain you for 6+ months. While back at HON look for your next place of work. Helluva lot easier to find a job when you are working.
Focus on getting unemployment and enjoy the time off. Once the recovery is in full swing give a good whack at trying to find another job. When you run out of unemployment you'll have HON as a backup, if that's what you really want.
