I understand people’s fears over leaving a job....but I gotta tell you the stress isn’t worth it! The way management treats people in this organization is deplorable! Self respect!

As far as the issues, one huge part is greed unbound. This is sales, so some targeted greed is necessary to a point. I have no issue with that.

The problem gets to when management thinks they can get blood from a stone, trying to condense what should be a 46-50 hour week into 40-42 at most. Trying to have you work 34-39 hours in a 4 day week because it's "free" for them. Cutting corners to the point where they feel they can yell at us for simply trying to do our Job. Then coming around the other side and expecting ever higher numbers with less hours to reach it. I'll never forget last year's rally when the one RDR yelled at all the reps for pushing back on all the demands for cutting hours and all.

Capping the incentives and doing away with others was a symptom of this issue. Also the lack of care about PPE equipment and the insulting masks were another. Why care about disposable workers? We just care about making lots of cash. I'm sure a lot of the "bad management" mentioned by people can go back to this root issue.

At the end of the day nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, matters but the bottom line.

For one, I love the 29 year guy talking down to everyone. He's gotten his and is riding it out, so who cares if the company goes downhill? Typical self centered boomer attitude. "I got mine, screw everyone else".

Meanwhile people like myself (7 years here), worry will the job be there in 5 years? 10 years? Not only that, can I last that long or longer? The 7 years I've been here have already been mentally taxing. Considering retirement age and all, can I last until at least 65 (probably longer)? That would mean another 35 years for myself.

It’s sad what people “put up with” because they fear retaliation! No, it’s not easy to come forward, but it’s the only way to help facilitate change! You can either be a part of the problem or the solution!
Joan Konsavage may not have made any permanent changes but she sure did vindicate herself! Regardless of her award, she was a brave sole for taking on Mondelez! Even after the company was found in violation, not one single apology! That is beyond arrogant! You’d at least think they would take responsibility for what they were found guilty of and say they want to make things better....they don’t! This should tell people a lot about how this organization treats people! Do yourself a favor and get out while you can!

What would it take to Unionze? Is anyone interested?

Retaliation is guaranteed if anyone speaks up about anything bad this company is doing to them or others. Those that praise the company have the easy routes. Those that complain are the ones overworked. Plain and simple, this company has mass examples of favoritism and nepotism. No reason why one sales rep would have 9 stores and another 18, other than blatant favoritism. Same thing happens with merchandisers. One merchandiser gets 8 hours to do 2 stores, another merchandiser gets 4 stores and is given 5 hours to do it. Unionizing would be one way to stop all of this. It's bad people that do these bad things. Very sad, once was such a great company to work for.

I think you mean nobody can say anything this company has done right! They generally just s—! Unfortunately some people are afraid to speak up due to retaliation, which the company “claims” they don’t allow! How about that junk! Yeah right! They pride themselves on equality. Feel that if they treat everyone like dirt, it’s all good! How about treating everyone good!

Any chance you think your manager may have a vested interest in telling you a lie? 😂 Have you ever heard the saying, “ there’s a s—er born every minute”? 🤪

Too many “wrongs” to even begin. Maybe what right is easier...nothing! Worst management ever, start there!

at this point I don't really care about 30, I'm good. my point is people always talk negative because they hate their job or they are an ex Keebler rep that is just bitter. Mondelez will look different in the future with more of a merchandising structure, however like Frito too much gravy when you own the category. And the customers yes want more margin, however they also want the DSD labor and fuel costs. it will be a different look, however will still go through the customers back door

Are you unhappy? DSD has been planned to end for years! I'm just going through the motions until the end. It's pretty chill! Work about 35 hours a week! Lots of out of stocks! Just blame it on the pandemic!
Your DM stays home all day! It's been a blast out here lol
