JPMorgan Chase Board of Directors Welcomes Virginia Rometty; James Bell and Laban Jackson retire from Board

“Ginni Rometty is one of the most accomplished business leaders of our time — leading IBM’s
resurgence during an extremely competitive and ever-changing environment. We are so fortunate
to attract another outstanding director to our board, and we look forward to working with her,”
said Lee Raymond, Lead Director of JPMorgan Chase.

Ginni's reward her outstanding results over her tenure!

It's time to take my money out of Chase. It was bad enough working at IBM under Ginni for 5 years.

Ginni is a complete and utter failure...I was under Palmisano (much better) and Ginni then got whacked in 2015 along with 20k other "IBMers". I would never hire Ginni or go back to IBM. Enjoy the RAs "IBMers" you now see what the IBM corporation has in store for you. Its a dinosaur and will not implode missed EVERY major tech change that hit in the last 30 years.

I have no idea what Jamie Dimon sees in Ginni. How is he so blind?

I wish I could be celebrated for my complete and utter failures in life, but I’m not an executive so no soup for me. While Ginni is receiving more money for negatively contributing to society, many of us will be looking for new jobs during a worldwide economic downturn caused by a pandemic which was brought to us by a country who these same execs and politicians hopped into bed with for the last 50 years while that country violently oppressed its own people and close neighbors while building up a military to threaten the West. Makes sense.

JPMC is a big client of IBM. This is a move to secure existing contracts.
