STS, the technology arm of Schwab, will be revamping job family roles, titles, and grade levels in June. This is the start of the layoffs that Schwab needs to do. First, a number of demotions, being sold as "industry standard consolidation". This will lead to large number of voluntary resignations as they sear ch for and accept new positions. Second, this is a form of normalization in preparation for the upcoming TDA aquisition and merge with the parent company, Schwab & Co. Make no mistake of this people. Layoffs are coming soon, but they are forcing you out first in order save money on the severance package. I'm a MP.
