Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Cost Savings

If Honeywell wants to make significant changes and save money, they should start at the top and layoff the CEO, Directors, Presidents and leave the hard working worker bees alone

@ppz they can mandate DEEZ NUTZ! Hahaha 46 hour workweek or what? I get laid off too? If they try this I'll never have worked slower in my life. 46 hour week will then equal 30 hours of real, actual work. I guess if they don't like it then they can let me go too, then my coworker can do 4 full time jobs as the sole team member left! Thanks dairy king!

If Dairy King had worthwhile investments internal or external, he should ask the board to cut the dividend and do a share offering like Tesla. Amazon does not buyback shares. It invests its profits back into the business. I don’t see long time Tesla or Amazon shareholders crying poverty but Dairy King wants to be like GE. GE shareholders are living in poverty right now because Jack robbed em blind.

Never going to happen. They (VP and above) will justify that they are needed to run the company and will guide us through this.

Odd that if they had that ability in the first place, then in theory HON stock price would NEVER go down. But, sadly that is pretty much every large company has this problem.

Best part is when “they” mandate 46+ hour weeks (depending on SBG, etc...), I am pretty sure it is not legislated at their level. Additionally, if they do, they are still making how much per hour? And for what guidance? Pretty much about having a lot of luck and the raw ability to be a $rick to make it to the top.

But, how would they be able to buy islands?

Shopify just announced they are permanently moving to a work-at-home model. More and more forward-thinking companies are doing this. There are cases where a physical presence is required, such as a factory. Otherwise, why spend hours a day commuting and spend a fortune for big-city real estate just for the privilege of rotting in a cube?

Read an article where working from home saves the company on avg 20k per employee. Of course they would never do that!!

"All executives, up through and including senior staff and the Board of Directors, will have reduced pay this year and substantially lower incentive payouts for 2020"

How about CANCELLING incentive payouts???? Just like they did all our raises. That should save plenty of $$$$ AND jobs!
