And the last couple of layoffs Canada was largely spared when compared today hits in the US. This is probably due to laws that better protect workers which tents to drive higher severance costs for IBM.
If you're in Canada and got hit today would you stare which division / business unit and any other information you may have how about the layoff.

Last day is Aug 7th actually for everyone on my team which has been demolished!
Canada (asset management) was attacked today out of nowhere. Bad timing due to Covid-19 and messed up with our steady life, but hopefully things will be a lot better after IBM.

Canada was impacted, different laws, so a different package than US (Canadians get a better package), 75 days, last day is August 4th. Analytics/Data and AI BU.
Canada was not spared, it was a big hit in Canada.
