Columbia is great for young people 19-30 who enjoy bars and hiking or older people who like staying home and going to church. Also good for families with small kids. Otherwise it s—s for single people or people who like to do more than walk in a park and drink.

Sc-appy restaurants. Horrible shopping. Horrible dating options. Boring. Cheap rent. Like 3brs $800 or less. Columbia office lacks morale. Show up work go home.

If you want to stay with IBM, Columbia MO is a good compromise. Small college city. IBMers from all over the US. I made the move from Atlanta and it’s been fine.

Depends of where you're coming from. MO could be much lower COLA
