Transition into Retirement

I'm luckier than most, because, I can transition into Retirement.

What concerns me is not only the Highly Technical IBM Employee's let go; but for the Services we all provide our IBM Customers. Does it make sense to R.A. Employee's, when our Customer's are actually paying for our services & IBM is making money off it too!

Our Executives have been switching gears to the New AI, Red Hat (seriously folks), Mobile Apps ... and forgetting main core Z. Going after two birds in the Bush; instead of still maintaining the various BIRDs in their hands. >>

Good Luck to everyone. Please keep your integrity, acceptance of diversity, empathy and common sense moving Forward!

You are What MAKES IBM. (Hired 04/03/78, Hired 01/22/01)

IBM has a program called "Transition to Retirement"
Does anyone know what one needs to qualify? e.g. How old do you need to be, how many years of service, etc.

I belive they mean they are of an age and have the funds to be able to move to retirement rather than look for another job. that is how I read it.
