Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

Memorial Day

There has been some positive signs with an increase of car reservations made for Memorial Day Weekend. Maybe this is the jump start we needed.

Even pre-corona virius holiday weekends were the opportunities to really offset the non-revenue producing months. It's definitely a positive but isn't enough to even chip away at the losses suffered. Once the bankruptcy is settled, debt will be negotiated and they will restructure and adapt.

One weekend will not make any impact. If you only worked one weekend a month would you have enough money to live on? Businesses are not open 100% so travel anywhere will be useless.

Hertz doesn't make money like that.

Let's say location gets 100% increase for memorial day....sounds great.

Well probelm
is bc utilization ( cost having cars) at best case maybe 50% and then all those returns come back and your back at 10%
