Not leaving enough behind to deliver on existing contracts

GTS for 8 years, 57 years old with multiple cloud certifications. I’m curious what the plan is to deliver on existing multi year contracts when half the delivery team is RA’d. I feel bad for my teammates left to face the customer. Not sure how much money this saves after penalties are incurred for missed SLAs/deadlines and lawsuits for breach of contract.

I'm 59, RA'd along with 40% of my team (all over 55). In the middle of two client cloud migrations with aggressive timelines, and the team was already short staffed.
Those being left behind are now wishing they were RA'd also, and I'm glad I'm not one of them...

I was let go from Cloud. From my perspective, there is no way my org could have delivered on time for majority of the top 10 key offerings with the people who were let go, much less without. It's hard to imagine things will deliver on time now considering hit to morale, added resource constraints, covid uncertainty, etc. Stands to reason that the ability to collect much anticipated revenue from Cloud will also be delayed.

@OP+155Bq8OI But Arvind wants the organisation to be cloud and AI focused. I wonder why is he letting cloud people like you go. Is it your age?
