So Arvind Krishna does layoffs as the first move after becoming the new CEO. Typical CEO move and that too an Indian CEO. Is IBM laying off in India too? Or transferring the jobs from US to India?
Why not IBM hire a Indian CEO based in India? Arvind, please deliver on the Cloud first.
Will there be more? Of course. Its bloody IBM. They were laying people off regularly before Covid. Now they have Covid as an excuse, they will be playing this card for years now. If you want to keep your sanity and health, get the hell out of there on your own terms.

from what I have heard, it is common practice for managers to notify the bulk on Thursdays and then the managers themselves get notified on Friday after they did the dirty work of their managers.
