The problem is the scum GSI folks only care about creating / retaining jobs in AZ where they live to justify their positions, i.e. putting more products from outside of Tempe skill set in Tempe site. The plan is to close all Factories outside of Phx in Aerospace including Torrance. Agree there is no ROI for rebuilding or moving Torrance compressor rooms...labs... they could have replicated Torrance prior to the waste of investments they made in labs in Mexicali. Most likely these mo–ns will move the assembly work or Mexico or Tempe but ship product to Torrance to continue testing. Working that ECS,ACM, FANs, ... have a rework and retest loops. They will spend 5x the potential ISC savings in just shipping rejects back and forth.

Most RIFs appear to have been voluntaries AND knowledgeable old timers. Not replaceable. I know all the haters out there but Torr has a good backlog of work in military, development and commercial production, that will slow down. There are also testing facilities there that the honchos would gag on ($$$) to replace elsewhere. At worst (Or BEST!) we get sold.
