Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

Top heavy

So far I have not heard of one upper management person being laid off.
It's a joke to see managers, and directors with no direct reports.
NOV is so top heavy it's going to flip over.....
I am ready to see some of the people that have run this company into the ground get let go.

Wake up if you keep thinking you are safe! Let’s see what comes next. Do your homework on NOV and you will see they have taken aggressive measures to cut cost that people are not talking about out loud.

That's how many big companies have failed. Expanding, Merging, Acquiring, and lose their way in cost cutting when it comes to downturn. The managements ends up selfish protecting their own interests. That's why some hire consulting firms to do the layoff, to clean mid management.
