Mainframe has taken serious hits in GTS. Experienced DPEs have been cut, in some cases entire account team axed. No warning.

Mainframe groups have taken RAs in the past. I wouldn't assume they are immune.
Why would you see a post related to the mainframe... nobody got laid off in that group. The mainframe is IBM’s flagship product along with middleware... these are the only products that makes money for IBM. The Cloud provides tepid revenues at best.
I've seen no Storage hits either
I have been tracking all posts here on the layoff over last two days - i am yet to see a single post referencing the mainframe group(s)
