A backbone

Why does management not have a backbone? The management at our club let's employees and some of our leads do whatever they want whenever they want and does or says nothing! THEN if something is wrong they turn on the leads that actually show up and actually work and tell them to hold the employees accountable!!! They need to STOP letting this go on! If they see something being done wrong or an employee not doing their job have the balls to say something then and there DON'T LOOK FOR or wait for the leads to try and fix it.

Managers don't want to do much any more. They just give their Id's to the so-called leads and allow them to change schedules around to suit them and their buds.

leads are over the hourly associate, manager's are over the leads. If a hourly is doing wrong its the leads job to fix it that's what a lead gets paid to do, fix problems then if they can't...... then they should go through management. If a hourly is bad its a direct reflection on the LEAD not the Manager.

I so agree. 2 fresh leads in my store do whatever they want. They don't follow schedule, and it's fine. One does absolutely nothing,, his own dept hates working with him, complaint after complaint and nothing still not done. Couldn't even pass the food safety exam, which you must pass in order to be a lead and guess what....exactly, he's still a lead. Grow some balls and find someone who can do a better job and who is much more qualified.

I definitely feel you on this man. I am a cart guy that works with a guy who has had a bunch of call in,arrives late, takes long breaks and texts on his phone instead of working. Associates in other departments of the club have this issue as well. I am convinced that management has favorites and there is favoritism going on.

The same thing is happening at my club people are getting away with so much and all management do is turn the other way smh.
