I am one of the latest survivors. Am I happy? Am I ashamed? A little happy because I have some medical issues to resolve. I ashamed that others with greater skills than I will now be gone. I will get the medical out of the way. I will better my skills. I hope I can leave on my own terms.

You're better off finding another company to work for, because it's only a matter of time if you're not already working with Cloud/Openshift, etc. I was in hardware sales for over a decade, and decided to leave big blue last year after a 25+ years commitment. I'm happy I chose to leave when I did. You should too while you have a choice/chance.

Survivors guilt is normal, suggest chatting with your manager to help identify courses to up-skill.
