Dear Sir/Madam:
We have to confirm that you appear on the final list of persons affected by the collective dismissal which the Company is going to implement at your Work Center in Malaga.
As you know, the consultation period of the Collective Dismissal ended with an agreement on 21st April 2020. In that Agreement, ORACLE and the workers’ legal representatives agreed that the terminations would take effect on 30th June 2020, and that the Company would call the workers affected, throughout the month of June, to deliver their letter of dismissal to them.
It was also agreed that those affected would be placed on paid leave, being released from their obligation to provide services for the Company, since 31st May 2020 (end of the Fiscal Year) until 30th June 2020 (date of effect of the dismissal).
On the basis of the foregoing, you are informed that you are excused from providing services since 1st June until 30th June 2020. During that period, the Company will pay you the fixed salary items which you usually receive in your pay-slip.
In the week of June 15th to 19th, you will receive an additional email at your oracle.com email address, indicating to you the logistics, place, date and specific time in the following week (22nd to 26th June), at which all the documentation will be delivered relating to the termination of your employment contract, based on the terms agreed in the Collective Dismissal Agreement, as well as all the information and considerations in this respect.
Thanks and best regards.

Malaga was and is full of sh–ty professionals, overpaid for what they delivered in a cheap/great place to live.
If someone thinks Oracle is the place to have such miraculous good job, is wrong.
I'm not surprised. My current organization (where I was fortunate enough to have landed after being RIF'ed) is also terminating (or not re-hiring) contractors (temp).
Good luck to us all.
