Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Good news for us Aero people working on the floor.

At my site at least 4 people that worked production (blue collar jobs you could say) that volunteered for the RIF were denied today. Considering the last RIF completely targeted our production lines, I'm feeling confident that our jobs at my site are safe for now.

The people in the office that have been working at home since March... I would dread any unexpected Skype calls.

So you get to stay for now and be faced with an insurmountable workload and impossible metrics until you too are laid off? What a sweet deal.

I doubt that the folks who volunteered and were denied would think it was "good news".

They will get you at some point! Maybe in a few weeks in round three!

I volunteered before and got denied. I was actually accepted this time. Not a floor worker.
