Well good job Fritz and Vena! UPS had a meeting with Union Pacific saying that we are at risk of losing their business. That is our biggest customer. When is Fritz and Vena gonna be put out on their asses so we can get back to business instead of this failed plan that is running this whole damn railroad into the ground?

FYI, Do you really think any employee or ex-employee that posts anything on this site really gives a damn??
FYI, if your a Union Pacific employee posting here be careful what you say. Or else......
There will be a railroad, but it will take years to repair and revitalize. Once accomplished, expect another cash grab. Wash, rinse, repeat for over one and a half centuries.
I'm prettys sure there won't be a railroad when those two are done. Thats their goal its seems. If there is anything left, top wage here will be 10 dollars and hour with zero benefits. I've heard that Fritz want to run for governor after he dismantled the railroad. Like no UP employees have friends or family in Nebraska. The clowns at the top are typical Trump supporting millionaires tho. Its all about lining their own pockets at the expense of the country.
Where are they going to go? Trucks with sleeper teams.
Ups is not our biggest customer. In fact Up might be better off without them. UPS and UP are joined at the hip. Both are jokes of a company. Both have people pulling strings that have no business doing so! All weak threats to get a better rate. Where are they going to go? The BNSF? They will be back in a week. Don’t believe the hype folks. Hub is by far our biggest customer and UP treats them like c-ap.
That’s the problem. The execs make these decisions and then blame everyone else when the sh– doesn’t work. All everyone is doing is playing the hand that THEY delt us. Fritz and Vena need to own up to their bad decisions and just call it what it is. We tried it and it doesn’t work. What we don’t do is keep heading towards the iceberg full steam ahead.
Everybody who says or thinks “so we can get back to railroading” is severely mistaken. This is the new way of like. It isn't going to change. Nobody below executive level likes PSR but it’s here and isn’t going away.
Them Z trains running late AF here in the west coast. Power issues, or somebody screwing up spotting the containers. I remember we used to have the best power for them trains and now it’s all garbage units. Great job UP!
UPS is serious if the management don’t get their act together they will be on 2 weeks off a month no pay instead of 1 week
We gained the UPS business on the PNW to Chicago route from the BNSF back in 2014. BNSF published their hours on the route at 126 and couldn't make commitment. UP was at 96 hours.
2017 - Lost the Toyota business out of Portland due to poor service. Our origin -none the less.
They can and will leave regardless of the cost.
Having a relative that works in UPS upper management, this thread is so true. We lose this account Union Pacific might as well merge with Csx.
To the person that thinks it’s fake news. You might want to get more informed. With an in time arrival percentage of 50.2%, we are absolutely at risk of losing them. Or maybe the people that showed up from UPS to discuss their displeasure with us were just blowing smoke. They should just come talk to you.
Fake news. We just took over 3000 car loads a month from Bnsf UPS is not breaking up
With us.
When the board of directors decide to get rid of them.
