Who is Cameo Global and Cognizant?
Are they big outsourcing firms like InfoSys, TCS & Wipro?
What BU uses Cameo Global? I've never heard of anyone from Cameo Global or Cognizant, but I've worked with a lot of InfoSys & Wipro staff.
If Cameo just laid all of us off, then they forgot to tell me. I am still working as a contractor at Cisco.
Valley is a bubble after covid. It is a city of sodom. Company revenues are down by 30-40 percent. No vaccine for corona yet. Hell on Earth is coming soon. Houses should be 200-250k max. Bay Area house prices are insane. This is a teaching lesson for human species who are full of greed.
I was laid off a year ago from another company. I had a several opportunities. The best one was a FTE Cisco job. I was suppose to be offered the position after talking with the manager but it was on hold for a few days. Cisco did a layoff. They said they could offer me a contract position. I accepted knowing it was simply a paycheck and nothing more. A few days before I was suppose to start, a job I didn't think I would get called and offered. It is so much better especially how Cisco treated me when I contacted the manager that I was not starting. I should have just worked the 4 weeks, bilked them just for a month's worth of paychecks, and just quit, basically doing nothing until the other job started. I know if I was a contractor, I would be gone from there. I didn't want to be in that environment again. IT in RTP is a constant mine field. The daily badge reader roulette to see if your number came up. I don't miss it at all.
SAD thing is Cisco probably is billed 200/hr for someone they pay 40/hr that isn’t even worth 40/hr
