News is out - Will be 81 people total in Torrance. 10% across the board? Got a lot of people today. Don't accept any "Meeting" Notices!

People supporting HXs getting hit hard. Pretty soon MX will have to drive up to Torrance to be big brother. Not sure how it will work for ITAR products.
Quarter is officially over, now it’s time for the assemblers/ mechanics to get hit. I wonder how bad they are going to get it. Most assemblers aren’t constantly on the computer checking and responding to emails. I wonder if HR is just going to Go around hitting cell by cell. Assemblers/mechs, if you see someone that you know doesn’t belong in your area, run to the restroom!!!

81 Indirect this week, and Direct employees next week, so I've heard. Planning took their hit today.
After they drop your flaccid body on the front steps, roll around the ground in front of the company with all your personal belongings all over the place and just groaning in pain with eyes clenched.
It would be great to see 80 people just flopping around out there.
Come back and flop around again next week because you don’t have a job to go to.

Refuse the meeting, don’t walk anywhere, run around the campus and see if they can catch you.
When they corner you, go limp and have them carry you out.

This is just my personal opinion, but ignoring HR will probably only result in them along with your supervisor and a senior manager like one of the VP's that are sitting in on the meetings personally coming to your work space and the resulting sceen will probably be imbarising and not very pretty to watch for you. However if anyone knows this guy make sure to record the insuing chaos for the rest of us so that we can have a laugh during this depressing time.
Yes, I hear 80 total in Torrance. Mostly the remaining admins or those who signed up in the last round of layoffs or this one. "General Meeting " notice with Director or similar and HR which means at 30 minutes each time its a few days work. One week payout per year of service and done same day.
Ignoring Human Remains (HR) has no effect....whomever thought they could "dodge the meeting" is delusional and actually probably requires psychiatric assistance. Oh and please don't call HR too early they might jump up out of bed and slip on the bottle.

Um, I don’t think that refusing to accept a meeting notice is going to change anything. HR- ‘Hmm, he didn’t accept my meeting. Oh well, I guess we’ll cancel his RIF and give him a salary increase’.
Lots of people I know got hit today. Lots of people in procurement/site specialists.... I’m sure planning will be hit tomorrow since none of them got hit today.
At least 2 from the test labs today. One is 62 with 30+ years. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
