Puerto Rico ISC is getting hit hard. Upside is that P&W opened a plant across the street from the Aguadilla site. People are finding positions quickly there.
Any idea about HBT and HCE Atlanta? How are they doing?
SPS seeing site closures here and there. Some people let go individually from various departments including engineering and marketing.
Personally know about 25 people let go in my immediate surrounding teams but sure the number is actually much much higher.
Expecting major RIF's in Tempe ISC this next week after Q2 closed out yesterday. Had production come in and work to push product out the door also was denied vacation next week per manager. Not a good sign.
Deer Valley C&PS was decimated.
I have a meeting with HR and boss in morning, told them just tell me on Friday no reply.
Anyone have info on Australia SPS
Minneapolis also lost supervisors, managers, and design engineers. It seems to be a shotgun blast. None of them seem to align to any patern.
Might be easier to list what departments don't have layoffs. I'll start. ALT.
"Living quarter to quarter, furlough to furlough and layoff to layoff" it’s the Honeywell way. Not much of a life! Just a day in the life of Honeywell
Minneapolis lost about 50% of its quality yesterday and about 10% of AME today.
Typically large layoff RIF’s occur in groups. (VRIF then IVRIP); or by SBU or by Function Type - Engineering, Marketing, Accounting, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, R&D, etc. or by specific Location. If it’s a large RIP it can take weeks to complete the first round of layoffs.
