Anyone have idea what happens if you are offered position but at lower pay will you still get severance if you chose not to take position.
Not soon enough.
If you get the layoff notice are you expected to keep working and doing your job during those 60 days? I wonder if they use severance as the carrot to keep you on the job until it is fully transitioned, or else you won’t be eligible to receive severance. That’d be a real kick in the gut.
The call our department was on yesterday with a VP from home office the information was that those who are in a job that is being eliminated will receive a notice on July 15th
If you are being evaluated against your peers to see if you get get one of the reduced jobs you will be told you are keeping a job or getting a layoff notice between Aug 15th and Aug 30th
1st round is July 15th. 60 day notice so last day will be September 15th. 2nd round notice is September 15th with last day being November 15th.
