How many vacation homes in Thailand were paid for by Equilibria's cost plus model. $6000/day for a twenty something year old coach? The board of directors are a bunch of id–ts to allow the G&A to be milked the way it has been in D&C. The worst of it is they a–holes don’t care how much actual corruption is occurring. If they did they would audit every nickel that Chevron paid out to Equilibria over the last 13 years. D&C was milked. Unocal from Thailand all good. Legacy Chevron all bad.

Chevron bringing in outside consultants screams that our management is clueless how to handle difficult changes. It doesn’t help that Chevron only promotes managers from within, who are carbon-copies of existing management. A clear recipe for failure.
Rather than listen to employees Chevron prefers external organisations to tell us how to improve our business. That’s why we waste time and money with outfits such as Equilibra and Boston Consultants and improvement processes such as Lean Sigma. These companies must be laughing all the way to the bank. Next year there will be some new business improvement fad doing the rounds and Chevron will buy into it and we will waste time in training sessions and pretending to implement it.
Equilibria ripped the company off for years with the blessings of top level management personnel. Employee that questioned why that company was so heavily supported by Chevron were ostracized. Equilibria was a waste of money
If only Chevron had instituted accountability over two decades ago, we’d be in a winning position today. When there is little to no accountability, what you obtain is complacency, mediocrity and corruption running rampant. The company allows too much nonsense and does very little to correct or punish the culprits. Now it’s reaping what it sowed.
How could our drillers be so stupid as to require an IQ test to tell them they are bossy and don’t listen?
This is very important and critical for this site about Lay-offs. Glad I didn't miss it!
Plus all the Check 5+1 coach’s.. millions in donation
I have to agree with this assertion. I saw this strange and protected relationship in multiple BUs. Luckily I think this has finally ended.
What is thus all about and how is chevron involved?
