Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Today's Fiserv Rally call

Anyone want to address the mess that FB sounded like and how JY tried to recover it at the end?

The VP level would not find commiserate roles in any company outside of fiserv. Across the board they are in over their heads

I sense alignment and engagement. Must be terribly strong executive leadership at this company

Do you feel the love in this room? Sounds like things are going to get better perhaps? Laughing in the background. This is like a rolling stone.

FB isn't in panic mode, he has too much confidence in himself for that. He isn't making promises to try and keep people as his preference would be that people leave on their own...He stated as much in past calls. What you are seeing is someone who speaks out of both sides of his mouth, to employees he paints a picture of all the things he wants to do, then in the boardroom he'll make cost cutting decisions that impact those employees negatively. As a former FD employee you have to learn to take everything said by FB with a grain of salt and never believe anything until its in writing. That includes his new philosophy on WFH, 401k match, and such. Not trying to be negative or positive just realistic based on experience.

Oh all you fools that think the positive talk on the call was genuine are very gullible. He was hated by FD employees and has a reputation for lying. I believe in being optimistic too but sometimes you need to be realistic. There will be more cuts. There will be pathetic pay increases and limited benefits and yet FB and his cronies will make millions...
that’s based on past history. But you believe what you want.

The only smart one in the whole situation is Jeff. Jets away to his Malibu pad with a golden parachute send off and avoids all the integration trouble going forward.

Long gone myself but if I had to guess, I'd say that you were hearing panic. The plan was most likely to keep the best talent but all the best talent from FS has gone. Now they're panicked because they don't know what the f— to do. Good talent, smart people plus tribal knowledge is gone. FB thinks he can plug in anyone to do someone else's job and now finding out he is wrong. Things have been breaking, customers and clients getting p-ss-d off so what you're probably hearing is sheer panic.

The entire point of a "rally" is to say positive things and convince your employees, er sorry, Resources, that they actually mean anything to the company. The Bottom Line is all that matters and FB has no track record of building a positive working environment. Maybe things will work OK for shareholders, but they are not working out well for clients and resources in the end.

Maybe things might end up for the better. FB sounds dedicated and determined for success with the company. Thoughts?

Anyone who listened to the call has to agree that everything said was positive. To many people on here are just looking for an excuse to complain. Even if that means making up fake news about FB and how he will transform Fiserv. Those are the people that need to leave and take their TOXIC energy with them. Leave the company AND this board, please.

Always love the shills for FB and FData — give him a chance and miracles will happen they say. It will be fun they say. JY is out the door with pockets lined. Just read the total commentary here and the shills are few and far between. Fiserv is dead, yet to be buried and FB will accomplish that.

It’s all just lip service to attempt to quell the poor morale. Once they look at the financials it will be back to business of slashing everything they can.

I thought it was a pretty good call today with Jeff and Frank. Frank telling us he sits in his chair 14 hours a day tells me he works a lot. I'll give Frank a chance and see hiwbitbgoes. It seems like they are actually fixing issues that I and others have raised in the past but were swept under the rug.
