All jobs will be sent to India and Ireland. They already started pilots last year to get the process started with FNOL being outsourced. And just to be clear, what cant be outsourced will be eliminated or automated. Andrew Yang was so right. Allstate will effectively be the Uber of insurance- just like they dreamed.
It's truly pitiful. These American companies do not care about American ppl or their livelihoods. They dont care they we put years, sweat and tears into them only to be told that we dont matter. Doing all of this in a pandemic only solidifies their position. They have no loyalties to us which is weird because we are the reason they are on the NASDAQ! They plan to exploit cheap labor in other countries with no benefits, no HR, no company culture, and no labor laws just to save money. Its sickening. I'm done! I hope Trump or the next incoming president taxes them into the ground for this traitorous behavior.

The labor laws portion of my rant was more so geared towards India where their govt purposefully exploits their citizens. I'm also aware that the UK subsidizes a lot of necessities that would usually fall on the company the employee works for (ex healthcare). Doesnt matter. Allstate only does things like this to save money.
OK, you covered Ireland, what benefits and labor rate is Allstate paying in Pune India?? They work for pennies on the dollar compared to the USA. Ever since Glen Shapiro came to Allstate, he gutted the Auto side of Allstate, trashed customer relations by closing the drive in locations and forcing customers to use QFC Quick Foto Claims, this does not work in the real world, I was in management and they wanted us to use QFC because they knew many Insureds would cash out and not get their vehicles repaired and accept an inferior estimate based on photos (many estimates done in India), being a former CSL for auto field (started as a field adjuster), so many times we would go do a supplement on an QFC estimate and actually find out the vehicle should have been a total loss!! There is absolutely no substitute for an experienced adjuster to look at the vehicle in person, Allstate is shorting each and every customer who chooses to use the QFC process, they plan on that to enhance profits. When I started at Allstate 21 years ago, being a field adjuster was the best job ever, now, they have made it the worst job ever if you can even plan on your future without being RIF’ed. This was the best job of my life and the worst Job in my life thanks to Glen Shapiro. I retired last month because I was tired of begging for good Inspire Surveys, being a CSL I was pressured by my RCL to get good surveys or I would be chastised in the RCL huddled and not be a meets employee. Sorry that I could no longer put lipstick on the pig, my great group of 9 field adjusters deserve so much more...
Office jobs shouldn’t be outsourcable whatsoever. The only jobs companies should be sending overseas are the gritty manufacturing jobs and raw resource extraction that can’t be performed domestically either because we just don’t have the raw materials to extract in this part of the earth or because not enough first world citizens are willing to do those jobs. Globalism isn’t about multiculturalism or equality, it’s about maximizing profit, power, and control for the small tribe at the top of the proverbial pyramid while dissolving the social bonds that make western nations so incredible. Bread and circuses will keep westerners amply distracted while the subversion and disenfranchisement continues taking place. The result of all of this will be communism achieved through the use of brainwashed useful id–ts for the majority of Americans. Our founding fathers would be disgusted. It’s too bad alpha male descendants of the founding stock are no longer in control of the nation or the future of Western people. Instead we have greedy snakes at the helm and they have no allegiance to the West whatsoever. Expect things to get worse but know that there is always a light somewhere in the darkness. Don’t allow the demoralization to take hold. Put down the TV remote or smart phone and instead spend time reading about history, philosophy, and economics and meditate. The truth will clear your vision and set you free. The future isn’t lost, yet.
Labour laws in Ireland are far superior to USA. You can be tapped on the shoulder and fired. They cant in Ireland or UK. It’s UK btw, Allstate Northern IReland. There are significant protections there. Bylaw a minimum of 30 days holidays fully paid per year. Employment law there protects the employee over the employer every time. US labour laws are medieval in comparison. Franky people from the UK would not work in the US.
