today was grim day even for CLW. Almost the entire AME group was cut all at once. Not for lack of projects in cue. What Gives HW? ISC, ENG, All got hit hard. I personally know of about 15 people that were IRIF'ed today. been at this location for over 20yrs, this is the hardest hit we have ever had.
Good luck to the remaining folks, I am sure more RIFs will be in the near future. And those who dont get rif'ed expect your work load to triple to pick up everyone else's slack.
Been a good run HW, on to bigger and better things.

More of CLW AME was cut today. They are basically down to nothing. QEs are gone, PEs are gone. Guess they are no longer looking for new product production. Maybe they will keep enough people around for returned goods, but I dont see how they will build or get any new products out the door.
More i think about it, Aero might actually be up for sale before to long. Good luck to the remaining folks.
Should be getting rid off those PSE, MS&C guys sitting behind offices are the least helpful to the sites. Although AME has been watered down several times over due to bad leadership from the past years they are still contributing to the sites performance.
Urbana and Mpls both lost well over half of AME in 4 days. ALL older engineers and most young ones are gone. So this is not a CW thing by any means
This will be taken wrong, and I don’t mean to imply everyone falls into this camp in CLW.
But, there’s one specific camp at that site that exceeds all expectations of Hon corporate stupidity. ALT does broad spectrum damage to everyone - but business and engineering leadership in this part of CLW was actively cutting everyone else’s throats because those folks egos outgrew their skills. You will never find a more wretched hive of nepotism and violent rejection of reality. F ‘em, and I hope some of them take the payout to retire and reflect on their personal behavior, which lead to the destruction of an industrial giant they personally executed.
The rest of you are better off for losing these people. Best of luck to you all
