Facts are not melodramatic. I'm in AME.

What Dept lost 60?
"50% in my department of 120 at DV."
Melodramatic.

Aside from the voluntaries, the department that I work in has lost only one engineer as far as I have been able to ascertain. All my team members are still employed as of the end of today. From my vantage point, it has been uneventful, surprisingly so. I was fully expecting that many would be hit. I know other areas were hammered. I have only reported what I have witnessed.

Anyone who describes what occurred this we as uneventful obviously doesn’t know what their talking about. This week was the most insane thing I’ve seen in my 10 years at Honeywell. Period.

Seems like the production teams got hit the hardest. AME and Support folks.

@vzz
Hey Einstein, there are no cars in the parking lot.
The people getting let go are considered non-essentials, which are at home sitting around in their underwear waiting for the bad news.

Six voluntary and at least two involuntary in one area alone. Maybe even more. Leaving five behind to do the work.

If there are still cars in the parking it’s not over.

50% in my department of 120 at DV. So, to the poster that said uneventful, try again.

I know of several people gone today at DV. It will only get worse too!

Not sure anyone “prefers” to stay, do we any more? Elsewhere, it’s officially just a paycheck until your time is up. Can’t get anything done. Not enough people to sign off, etc. I just think they are slower at Deer Valley right now. It’s coming.

Excluding those who took the voluntary RIF, it seems kind of uneventful. Have not heard of too many being let go. I was expecting heavy numbers of involuntaries based on all the rumors leading up to this week. Sorry for all that did get hit and would have preferred to stay.
