Received a email stating to return equipment and report back. But was also told to hold tight not true. Anyone else?

You wouldn't find out that way... Your GM would call you. Maybe you are talking about the email the whole company received about returning to work. If you go and check your group assignment you won't have an assignment thier for you are still working from home. If you found out via email make sure you tell your HR rep about it.

Its the little things also! We have a SM who doesn't wear denim shirts this summer she wears the black t shirts, i believe she has permission by the stay at home DM! I heard the gm say I'm going to start wearing a t shirt ,can you imagine if the reps came in wearing the t shirts.! They would be sent home even with the amount of reps working that day. It was 96 degree in NY Monday, we would all like to wear t shirts( Verizon provided) So can you imagine what type of SM she is? Do what I say don't do what I do! The company has to bring all these people in for training or coaching before the stores have major moral problems!

@1qjj+15Psz73c I also work in a retail store and echo everything you said. I will also add that there is zero empathy towards the reps. There are many days where I feel it is a hostile work environment. The combination of working through covid 19, a permanent change in how we are paid and managers all being on a different page has made it a stressful challenge. Try to delay coming back to the store as much as possible.

Thats the culture of Verizon Corp. Stores , till this culture changes the stores will stay unsafe. First of all we are on guarantee commissions, can you imagine what the store mgmt actions will be when they go live with the new commission structure! Surveys are controlling their every decisions and actions now, constant minute by minute updates on and ratio, etc etc! I understand that the stores have to be profitable, but staying the same when there is a highly contagious virus around. The store managers constantly telling reps its BAU while micromanagement by words not by action has to stop! Stores with yellow hazard tape,no phones on display, spraying down areas after customers leave is BAU? Reps being told to insert sims into to phone, because the customer does not want to try on want to be instructed to do it themselves, all surveys driven actions. So to the people that are going back please consider your safety and your family safety. Last, store managers have be trained more effectively in this new world of retail because whats happening now in the stores are just uncalled for and unsafe.

First thing is......do everything you can to prevent yourself from returning to work. It’s a real poo show at the store in these uncertain times. They did away with the 30% hazard pay even though it’s more of a hazard now then ever before. Managers are making reps touch phones and doing full set ups while customers are not keeping masks on. They let customers use OUR bathrooms adding to more unnecessary germs . Add in BAU when it comes to soliciting TMP, accessories and now the new Verizon Visa card. The retail stores are a huge joke. Very unsafe. Now a lot of reps are going to be heading back to office because current reps are getting stressed out from not enough help in stores. Right now it is the #1 complaint reps currently in the retail stores have.
