Esurance people got as their service date either their Esurance hire date, or the date Allstate acquired Esurance, whichever is later.

Less than one full year of Allstate service time will not receive severance. Esurance movers will receive the 60 day notice and that is it.
So when former Esurance employees get laid off, will there be severance or will they get it based on years of service? BUT they are a new Allstate employee that will be less than a year of service with Allstate? It would explain why there has been no conversation confirming how severance will work.
