When these tech companies at the edge of bankruptcy, they look for a bailout from US govt with tax payer's money but when it comes to investing in people, they take money out.

While I hear a lot of slogans from Trump "American great again and bring jobs backs etc." but it's happening under his nose.

Given IBM’s preference to offer jobs for lower expenses (Iowa, Louisiana, Texas, Michigan, etc etc) , what are the odds that IBM plays follow the leader, along with the Other high tech firms and offers India the same play. With 1/6th of the worlds population, a growing digital infrastructure, a lower labor cost, and a British based legal system, most high tech firms have decided to invest in India rather than China. I expect IBM to adopt the same play as that’s what IBM’s management always does. (follow the leader). The current management team will justify it via saying necessary skills reside in India. I would expect an announcement sooner rather than later, as IBM will have to justify their revenue and earnings miss come 2nd q reporting. Revenue is expected to be off by as much as 8%. Remember as goes revenue so goes headcount. Moving more jobs to India offsets a pile of costs given the 4 to 1 pay advantage of India labor.
