Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Trash

Our trash compactor, which was full at the time, was broken into. There was trash everywhere. It was wet and rancid absolutely gross. Myself and another coworker were made to clean it up. I complained that this isn't sanitary and was told it's my job. Any thoughts?

First put on your big boy pants on for the day,
Than put on a pair of rubber gloves. After your done, take the gloves off and wash your hands with soap and water. That's my thoughts.

If you’re complaining about not having a job but checking out the Sams Lay-off page you’re either a corporate stooge trolling or pathetic beyond belief. Come in or go online and apply. All the clubs are hiring dumb sh–s.

People know that sams does throw away items of value in the compactor. Years ago that's how employees would commit thefts by dumping stuff in there and someone else later on would open it from the outside and retrieve the items. Of course it's easier when the compactor is a day or two from being dumped. Just a thought

You're right It's not sanitary. But it would be our job as employees to clean it up. At my club years ago there was a chemical fire in our compactor. It was pulled dumped out in the parking and the fire department hosed it all down. We then had to clean it all up. Nasty wet burnt trash.
