Unemployment

Anyone gotten their unemployment benefits from rrb yet, and figured out just who is responsible for the covid19 600 extra that we are supposed to be getting? I know that this has been asked before but with all the recent stupid post about butt sniffing, so called striking going down, and other childish stuff it would be nice to actually get some useful information from here. Thank you to those that actually answer this post will good intent there are a bunch of us out here asking questions and not getting answers.

I got all my back pay on Monday ($3600) except for the last period I qualified for. But they usually pay a week after certification, so I'll know tomorrow if it all comes with the normal UI BENEFITS. Mines went to the bank I had on file.

You don’t apply for covid 19, there is no extra step for the extra 600 per week. You automatically are set to receive it when you file for unemployment.

15eQZFBI please read the second and fourth post. I wrote the second post, just received my second unemployment payment and did get the 600 extra per week for the extra from the government. Just file your unemployment like usual and you hopefully get it. Good luck brother

How do you apply for the covid 19 $600? Serious question here. I already filed on rrb. There is no option for covid 19 $600. It took nearly a month for my first direct deposit of $531.

The extra 600 a week is only good until July 31st.
After that you would be collecting a little shy of 1500 a month.
You will get the back pay of the 600 from the time you filed for unemployment.
RRB.gov is the best way to claim and get information.
Good luck.

I got 2 1200 payments on Saturday, read that most members should get it this coming week on the railroad retirement board.

The rrb has to send your information to the treasury dept and they pay it. That is to the best of my knowledge. Haven't seen any in my bank acct yet and at this point am pretty skepticle about getting it.
