Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

"we must remain vigilant in standing together against racism and discrimination" Doug McMillon

Do your part by upholding the standards this company was founded upon. Stop allowing managers to disrespect and prey upon unsuspecting Associates and members, bending policies for who they see fit and leaving everyone else to suffer consequences.

The public sees red and they don't care to protect businesses that have shown disregard for the communities in which they operate. This goes for you "leaders" quick to coach and fire employees to feed your ego and clearly discriminating on the basis of race, s-x, age, and other unprofessional basis. More worried about forming cliques, gossiping, and making enemies out of coworkers than running a successful business. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Keep using your position in this company to bully Associates and treat your club like a playground to compensate for whatever misery dwells in your personal lives... The anger of this world will come directly to your threshold.

"Well said. Depending on what part of town you work...you better be that race or you simply don't matter...and if you've been with them for many years and are now considered elderly, the so-called management team and so-called team leads will start their cr** with you in hopes of you quitting. Disgusting!"

Maybe their "c-ap" is them upholding standards? Maybe you can't perform the position and aren't productive? Maybe you should work as hard as the associates who are successful?

If your store doesn't have even a passing scent of racism or bigotry, you either

  1. Are in your own social bubble, willfully or unwillingly unaware of what's going on
  1. Are complicit in that sickness and one of those people who participates in passive aggressions against types of people you don't like while maintaining plausible deniability.

Now's not the time to pretend like you don't have managers and employees that think and act on their biases. Be honest with yourself and encourage them to do the same.

Hiding your bigotry under the thin veil of innocence is the height of hypocrisy and will continuously lead to events like we are witnessing.

You're store must be a horrible place to work. Can't imagine why you stay. Must be the money.
