It seems apparent even the managers are folding. My manager is creating a very hostile environment wherein I feel like every move i make is scrutinized. they generally resort to this when the pressure is high from upper management and they forget making their workers feel good and proud of their work make for a secure department and a productive one.

Chances are they aren’t coming back either because of Covid as that’s why there are contract workers to begin with. They give flexibility to the company so they are a buffer for full time XRX employees, which by the way, are not safe either
Just assume you are all fired/laid off anyway because you just don’t know it yet but it’s already a done deal.
Rumor has it, contractors are never coming back. I heard that from a couple of unrelated sources.

xerox will care. someone, i'm not naming who, is going to make such a large and public stink about this, that it would be hard for them to hire I'm sure.
I documented a hostile work environment and so did about 8-12 others for a certain manager. Only thing that happened was the manager got moved to another position where they were allowed to continue to directly impact those of us in their old group. Xerox doesn’t care.
