Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Puerto Rico Coming up meetings

I just got a meeting notice for a director’s meeting tomorrow, it says that it’s to give a “Business Conditions Update” Does anyone know what are they going to say this time?

I imagine that it means bad news...

No severance is pretty low. Even for Honeywell.

When the Aguadilla offices were opened, and later those in Moca, the people there put in lots of hard work. I am very sorry to see this news. To those of you who may lose your jobs: You will find other work, I trust. You are hard working people. There is life after Hon.

Don't worry my PR friends. There is literally no future at Honeyhell. There is no business to support the massive burden rate HON has. All the ATR and BGA business has all but dried up. AERO is surviving on some limited ATR business and some defense and space stuff. That's it. Even if COVID ended today it's going to take months or years to come back so we can all look forward to continued layoffs and furloughs along with as much cost cutting as those goldbricking j*rkoffs at the top can manage. Today's CEOs practice company value extraction where you bleed the company dry till there is nothing left and then you pull out your golden parachute of millions of dollars and leave all us serfs with nothing.

Just remember what they mean when they our employees are or biggest asset. What they really mean is our employees are our biggest ATM machine/piggy bank/ expendable resource in which to steal from.

There is no future at Honeyhell. We have reached the end of the road, folks.

Yeah major layoffs headed your way. Get ready for the best people to get laid off and the id–ts that don’t reserve jobs will stay.

I am pretty sure they are just going to tell us that we are going back in office and gives the new guidelines on "staying safe"

Sorry, but you guys are technically part of the US, so have to incur the wrath of the id–ts in charge. So, yes, census reductions will definitely hit you poor saps on the island. Too bad, i know many PR folks that are top notch and don't deserve the same treatment us poor mainland ba$tards have tolerated. Best of luck amigos y amigas

You will hear a story on how times are tough and some tough business decisions had to be made. It will be all very vague without specifics. All of your questions will be answered with standard Director Level Bull Sh$t. Afterwards they will tell you that you can nominate yourself for a Voluntary RIF and you have a few days to do it. Best of Luck!!!

Or it means that president of aero promised millions of dollars of extra revenue this quarter and just realized he doesn’t have enough people to actually do it... and laid people off so no hiring either.
So mandatory travel and twelve hour days until the “crisis” is over... which will be never.
