These guys came to CUE and told management how they should structure their BU leading to many job losses ( charged a fortune for their service) then went across the road to Conoco Phillips the week after and told them the same. Absolute crooks!

BcG is useless. Spent years at other oil majors and they p-ss-d away our money. We should use smaller firms
They’re not fired. They’re done with the phase of the project that we hired them for.
Cost cutting. They are INCREDIBLY expensive. Hard to look your workforce in the face and say we need to cut when you are spending $50K per week per BCG head.
Wow, the BCG people are down a level under two of Ga's reports. Then google the BCG names...your looking at zip for business maturity.
Look under outlook who reports to Joes direct reports in TPS.
BCG is very much a part of this all make no mistake.
BCG is a consulting company as you and everyone knows. Consultants are not "fired". They are simply informed that their "services" are not needed for a particular project. They are brought in to provide services on an "as needed" basis. BCG was not needed for the transformation effort. Why? Because someone finally had enough good sense to realize that we can do this ourselves without the added cost. BCG rarely provides value which is equal to or greater than their charges.
Doubtful they were “fired”. If they are gone, it’s because the hard work is done and we need to save money.
All these consulting companies are basically b—s—. I can tell you what they are going to say. Lower your cost structure by firing people. Do you really need to pay someone to make a fancy powerpoint to tell you that.
