Everyone should get pay $15 an hr

All associates should get $15 an hr. I don’t understand why not everyone are not getting the $15. As you see cashiers, greeters, has station attendant maintenance and cart guys are also dealing with all of this pandemic, everyone’s job is important, I heart one of my coworker at gas station get bet up cause by the homeless and managers did not respond quickly. Cart guys need to push 10 to 20 carts plus click and pull. Greeters get push and threats by members, cashiers get yelled and curse all the time. While managers and team leads are standing, talking and laughing in the side of the corner. It’s just right for us to get the $15 we as cashiers, cart guys, gas station attendant and greeters help in click and pull, merchandise and maintenance

Not ALL managers and team leads fall into this c-ap pot. But absolutely many do! Since it is being made so unbearable for the long time associates, they will all either walk away or have to stay and be made to do what the team leads tell them. Many of the team leads push long time associates to the side and have their buds work the jobs that the long timers did. This is obviously okay with management and home office, because they hope the long timers will leave and thus, cut payroll. Don't be so naive to think they won't. And shame on home office for allowing this. If you are amongst the few that care to advance in such a place, good luck. If you aren't, you are considered worthless and replaceable.

tuy+15hUolI9 ALL Managers are alike in one essential way. At some point they will always always do something against company policy to make their own life easier. And ALL managers at some point will retaliate. That is the nature of being a human with a little power. Now not all managers doe these things a lot or all the time. But ALL managers do these things at some point in their management career .I have known a lot of managers and leaders and they ( we ) all have done , do or will do these things while we are still a manager. Question is can you admit that to yourself when you look in a mirror???

They should bring back the old system. Where people actually get pay increases on their own development. There is really no incentive to better yourself since everyone gets 2% no matter what. It hurts the moral of the hard working, self pride individuals that keep the company going. I do not think it is fair that when they raised the starting pay or even bumped up the pay to certain areas and leads that the ones that made above that got nothing. It's just a slap in the face to ones that have been there longer. The ones that have worked and earned every penny that they get paid. Not everyone should get the "trophy"!

The more raises you want the more machines you will see. Last time a raise was given self checkout and scan and go was born. Then came self driving floor cleaning machines. In other words be careful what you wish for

So the people that have been there forever and a day should only get $15 an hour wrong!! Many of these people are Grandfather in they have put a lot of years and seen young stand around and do nothing's come and go and who gets to clean up there messes us old timers because were basically the only ones with any respect for our jobs & the members that shop at our clubs . Your so so WRONG!!! Keep standing around doing whatever it is your doing playing on your phones, hiding in groups in the back & maybe you will only be making $5.73 and that's to much....

Sam's doesn't pay a "living salary". Annual raises aren't even 5%. It's a sad situation. They feed off of their million or so associates, in many ways. In the last year they gave raises to (many undeserving) to be "leads"...so many of the managers could be fewer and sit around. One can't get HR help because there is no HR! One can't talk to any higher ups without retaliation. Can't wait to move on...coming soon!

As a Sam's club manager I am furious by this comment. How dare you comment on all managers and all team leads and their behaviors. You can not make an assumption that we all stand around talking. In my store we have multiple managers and team leads standing side by side with our teams. I,for example, push carts almost everyday, operate a register everyday, merchandise everyday, and I spent six hours on my vacation decorating our breakroom to celebrate us winning club of the year! How dare you! We are endangering our health and our families health just as every other associate in the building. Also, the majority of managers and team leads have yet to take advantage as a larger group of associates have with calling in as they PLEASE. I AGREE WITH YOU SOME AREAS SHOULD BE PAID MORE. However, twelve dollars and hour to stand at a door and be nice welcoming memebers I think is more than enough. I know people who get paid less and do back breaking work. If you want to be upset fine but be upset with CEOs that make millions. Direct your frustrations at who truly deserves it. FYI on occasion we get to laugh at work especially when we are struggling everyday to keep our work family, yes I said work family, happy in the midst of being screamed at for not allowing memebers to buy ten packs of toilet paper. Next time you decide to vent make sure you consider your thoughts. I hope you don't have anyone in your family who has to work in our field at this scaring time.
