The attitude of management is be happy you have a job and if you don't like it leave there are plenty of people who can fill your spot. Just when you thought things could not get more toxic. Starting to document every meeting and email from management

That's how it works. They call it being held "accountable" but the ways its handled it more about who do I blame. Its insane when your surface issues and it gets brushed under the carpet then when it surfaces they claim no knowledge. We had a real bad s-xual harassment issue that was brought to the attention of our ZVP who brushed it off. Then when it blew up she was like this is totally unacceptable!

That happened to me - I complained about the car policy and next thing you know I was fired.
We used to call my boss Nik da B'stard.

Lay low. You will be labeled a trouble maker and targeted. Supportive managers are far and few at Hertz. The ones left are definitely not of that character. When they ask for feedback they take your words and call you a trouble make. Then your are labeled and targeted. I saw this happen to a fellow worker.

The truth hurts!! I am sure their are countless others that can attest to everything that was mention. Hertz is already in bed that is clearly on fire so I would say, you don’t need to piss anyone off that can expose your bad business ethic.

The "Be happy you have a job" attitude was around when I first went to work for the company over 25 years ago. It never changed during my tenure. I finally left when it was clear they were not interested in doing anything about a rapidly declining employee morale in free fall. Any hope of any kind of managerial support is certainly gone now that the company is in the tank, unless by some miracle there is a purge of management and new talent is recruited that knows what it means to take care of their people.
