A truly embarrassing attempt.
Progressive erosion in the quality of Honeywell products and services continue to sink the company. There are still a few efficient departments keeping the company afloat. Incompetent, technically unqualified people keeping getting promoted to leadership positions. They congratulate each other at the top while people at the bottom know the worthless services/products being promoted. Been going on for decades. Just a matter of time.
Honeywell had a chance to compete with the likes of Google (Nest) and Amazon (Ring/Alexa) managing home appliances via their Thermostat/Security/etc units and they blew it spending on overvalued aquisitions and senior management bonuses.
Honeywell is willing to provide toilet scrubbing services if it makes money. Shows that the whole we are a SW company motto is just a bunch of bull.
What’s wrong with providing a new offering?. As long as you make money, I don’t see a problem.
