Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Same old people. Where is the change

Why do we still have a Management sponsor over age 60 with his little band of favorites dispersed over he world.? Shouldn't we be looking for more creativity and connection with what is needed for real transformation?

The Sponsors are just glorified guidance counselors who spend their days making Powerpoint slides.

The change will happen when everyone like the OP is gone.

In the upstream- every single MD/VP was put back in role??? No selection process. No change. This is what happens when you have favoritism at the top from the 3 OPCO Presidents. This is why the culture change Mike wants will fail.

Do you even know the management sponsor? He is a sharp guy and has done a good job in the recent PSG 27-29 selections. He isn’t involved in the MD/VP round.
