Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Strength of Culture

As an OFS person I have to admit OFD has a much stronger ERG program and desire to create a diverse and inclusive culture. I attended a session yesterday to discuss the present racial tension and that call never would of happened at OFS, I should know I tried for two years to get our affinity groups going and received no support. I am impressed and look forward to giving this a shot. Give credit where credit is due friends.

S— it up buttercup, your choices have slowed down the productivity of the the company, caused unrest, and look stock prices have never trended this badly. Your new micro management c-ap doesn't inspire innovation. It just creates a culture of do the bare minimum and be at a keyboard, and is it the end of the day yet? If you want a better culture, set SMART goals and trust that your employee's will achieve them. Oh wait, that is right... You have to see people for them to be productive, you are a prehistoric CEO, and it will be interesting how this company sputters along like a lame horse.

A LOT of misinformation here! OFD USES ERGs to sell business and cash in on looking good. It’s all a farce. OFS ERGs focused on providing real opportunities to grow individuals not sell business. FBs strategy is to go all-in on the military and the other groups are the must-have for public perception. FBs new role as CEO will only benefit the military groups and benefits. All others aren’t worthy of his time.

I am OFS and believe me, no fan of OFD, but coming from other companies, I did notice that there were hardly any ERGs at our company. While even old school companies like BOA were changing their logo for pride month, we did nothing of the sort. It didn't really surprise me, in all honesty OFS is kind of full of old white boomers who have only worked at one company all their lives so it isn't surprising.

Further confirmation on the 'strength of culture' FB breeds. In his latest weekly leadership meeting, he said he wants to create high level positions to fill with 'people of color'. He wants to ensure we have enough tokens to look diverse.

@2cku+15liQI5R I learned today that OFD is losing 2 very large national clients in a few months that will have impact on 3rd quarter earnings. There is also a bank that is consider a move before year end. Things are going to get very interesting when the losses start to add up.

@2ray+15liQI5R - if you think anyone other than malcontent sub-performers read this site full of malcontent sub-performers...I’ve got a VP role to offer you in leadership.OF sub-performers come here to lament the fact they are now being scrutinized and held to actual standards, being expected to perform in a new culture they can’t hope to keep up with. Yeah, the senior staff must be having some difficult discussions with clients, and i would assume this is starting to hurt their image enough to force them to post up positive reviews. Look at glassdoor, i think their PR team is posting more positive reviews now to help offset all the bad ones.

The new Fiserv leadership team is beginning to realize that this site is in existence and that it is being referred to during the mass conference calls purposed to update associates on COVID and other issues. My guess is that we'll soon see a lot of 'positive' comments on here from folks who want to steer the conversation away from what's really going on. Don't be deceived - I spoke with someone very high up at Bank of America yesterday and they are aware - this company is not what it was.

Before you praise the ERGs under First Data you should understand why they were set up. Local event recognizing black community leaders...BLC was there advertising for First Data. Pride event...First Data was there asking for business. FB has gone on record, from the beginning, saying that ERGs are a way the company can draw in more clients. He has asked the highest level ERG leaders to ensure they are promoting FD at events in their community. These groups are not about creating diversity in a meaningful way.
