Yet another confirmed case of coronavirus at R&O. My heart breaks for the affected person and their family. That said, why does dairyass have such a hard on for making everyone come back to the sites? Working from home has blown up in their face from a proof of concept perspective and going back any time soon is just needlessly putting us all at risk and for what? They want us to work long hours to make up for RIF'd employees while sending dumb–s emails each week hinting at the thought of returning to the sites. Why? To get overworked, exposed to COVID and then RIF'd for my trouble? F— YOU dairyass.

2101 is a building number1014 is a plant number in SAP.
I thought 1014 was tempe? 2101 is Sky Harbor R&O I believe.

People don't have to be on death's door to die from this, and what a horrible way to go if they get put on a ventilator...read up on what that entails. If you do nothing that requires you to touch the product then honestly you are overhead. Engineers who make pretty drawings then never touch the actual result —overhead. Software engineers tapping code in their underwear at 2am ...redundant to the guy in the lab that actually makes that code work. Accountants who live on an island thousands of miles from anything related to the product ..overhead.

Exposing yourself to the .3% that have contracted COVID. Essentially a flu, the average age of someone that has died is OLDER than the average age of a regular death. We have thousands of drunk driving deaths every year, should we go ahead and poor all alcohol down, shut down all the bars, force cops to give breathalizers at every bar before someone can leave?
The argument for COVID is ignorance, it is extremely rare to actually die unless you are already knocking on deaths door. Maybe we should just eliminate anything in the world that there is a risk of death, sky diving, bungee jumping, traveling to countries that are none for diseases being higher risk.
People who are "scared" are the same people who react to things without thinking.

Obviously I don't build APUs or work in R&O,or I wouldn't be working from home, would I? Trust me when I tell you, once the economy recovers me and the rest of the employees that are able are leaving this sinking ship but until then, why needlessly risk exposing ourselves and our families if we have the ability to work from home? It makes no sense.
If you don't like it why do you stick around? You realize our business requires us to produce products, can you repair APU's or Engines from your home? If we shut down those lines then ALL those employees would be on furlough until further notice, and the RIF's would be even deeper then they already have been.
And for what, so you don't catch COVID, a disease that has affected .3% of Arizona, read that again, less than half a percent of the population in Arizona.
